What fabrics are used to make Bunda Swimwear?

In order to create long lasting swimwear, it must start with using premium high quality fabrics, this truly is the key in creating amazing bikinis & swimsuits! I cannot tell you how many fabric swatches I have looked at over the years, it took a while to get the right one, but, we got there! The fabrics used to make Bunda Swimwear are from Italy. The break down of the fabric is 78% polyamide, 22% lycra (extra life). The fabrics feel silky soft, they are UV light protected, chlorine safe which will help prevent colour discolouration and keep your swimwear looking fabulous! Even better, the fabrics used are all eco-friendly. They are made from abandoned fishing nets and other discarded plastics, isn't that incredible?

Where is Bunda Swimwear Manufactured?

Bunda Swimwear is a premium swimwear brand that is hand-made in London, United Kingdom. The factory is considered one of the best swimwear manufacturers in the UK, and with good reason!

When deciding on where Bunda Swimwear should be manufactured, it was so important to me that it was ethnical and sustainable. After searching high and low, and considering factories in Europe, I just knew the best one was going to be London. I wanted a factory based in the country I live in, so I can visit them easily and build a relationship with everyone involved.

The process of making swimwear is fascinating. I have seen the whole process, from sketching designs at home, to bringing them in to the factory, creating samples, grading, etc. The team who make Bunda Swimwear are so talented and it's amazing to work with them!
